Abstract
The notice announces an International Colloquium “Cucuteni Culture within the European Neo-Eneolithic Context” to be held on 15–17 October 2014 at the History and Archaeology Museum in Piatra-Neamț, Romania. The event marks the 130th anniversary of the 1884 discovery of the eponymous Cucuteni settlement and continues a decennial scholarly tradition (previous meeting in 2004). It invites archaeologists and specialists working on the Cucuteni–Trypillia cultural complex to discuss its place within wider European Neolithic and Eneolithic developments.

An international meeting in Piatra-Neamț brings together specialists on the Cucuteni–Trypillia world to reassess its role in the European Neolithic and Eneolithic. The colloquium commemorates 130 years since the discovery of the type-site near Cucuteni (1884).

Міжнародний коллоквіум “Культура Кукутень у контексті неоліту та енеоліту Європи”

Між 15 та 17 жовтня 2014 року у Музей історії та археології  м. Пятра-Нямц (румунія) проводить міжнародний коллоквіум “Культура Кукутень у контексті неоліту та енеоліту Європи”. Це наукові зібрання присвчується 130-й річниці відкриття епонімної пам’ятки – поселення біля села Кукутень, яке мало місце 1884 року. Подібні колоквіуми проводять раз на десять років – попередній відбувся 2004 року. До участі запрошені археологи – дослідники трипільської культури.

Between 15-17 October 2014, History and Archaeology Museum of Piatra-Neamt will organize in Piatra-Neamt (Romania) the International Colloquium Cucuteni Culture within the European Neo-Eneolothic Context.
